INFITTABLES

INFITTABLE is a critic on the dynamic society that we are creating for ourselfs. Consisting of inflatable garnements that create space around the body. How great would it be, instead of being on a strike, to close ourselfs in our personal bubbles? Underneath the hoodie I want to show the persona of a fragile girl. Who is trying to build a wall around her. But instead of getting invisible for her sociëty (not showing up for work, staying at home) she shows her surroundings that she needs space for herself. As an unspoken statement. In the future our world will become even more and more crowded that it is already, people will try to do everything they can to get their own personal space. ...getting grip of their own bodies and belongings. THIS IS A PROTOTYPE, work in progress during 2009
