I just bought a 2012 7.2FX.. and it's great, but I realllllly should have spent the extra cash and bought the 1.2. I'm going to switch the fat 35c wheels for 28c wheels, and maybe a few other upgrades down the road (maybe).

I've just bought the new Trek 1.2 2012 model as my winter trainer in lovely matt black & charcoal and wrapped my Trek Madone full carbon in cotton wool until the weather clears up. Keep the white bar tape clean with a warm damp teatowel and neat fairy liquid and wrap around the bars and holding the top bars use a back and forth motion, you can also fold back the rubber brake hoods to get right under where they hide the tape........................he

Wow, you like video games as well? We like the same hobbies. I play Quake 4 and I actually built my own road bike.. Check it out cut and paste on on you tube search: Trek roadbike leader 715 frame

Put that thing in the living room where it belongs. nice bike.
I snagged one of these in April from Wheels in Callander. The 2011 was £725 but I got the last 2010 for £625. I love it, despite the handlebar bindings being absolutely filthy after only a few weeks.

@thnurg just use a piece of cloth with fairy liquid and ruba-dub-dub against the handle bars and they're brand new :D

couple of questions for you sir-
1. Is this your first road bike
2. Why is this bike in the shed
3. Are you excited

@rejointuk276 1) yep, first road bike. Previous to this I had an old Klein mountain bike (i put road tyres on it). 2) I would LOVE to have this in my room but a) i dont have space in the house to put this bike in and b) things could get messy if i put it in my house as the tyres and frame do get mucky due to mud and rain... i tend to clean the bike every week. The shed is very secure and not easily accessable. 3) Oh yes, im over the moon. Best purchase ever. Only regret is not buying it earlier!
