  • have bought it in Germany at Amazon (rabbit korkenzieher) and we are so happy with it. works absolutely great and easy. also the 10 year warranty was giving us faith. highly recommend this!!

  • steve martin?

  • Me too! It screws in and the screw just goes in reverse when trying to take out the cork. It worked for about 20 bottles.

I guess you have to clamp the handles around the top of the bottle correctly. I've googled for ya. To find some guy's explanation of how this thing works, google for the phrase "The two handles, that you squeeze around the neck of the bottle, each pivot on a hinge". Youtube makes it too hard to post URLs.

  • It looks so easy. So why doesn't mine work like that? Mine just unscrews back up the same way it went in.
