I like how you have her own special blanket and you have it in an area where she can see things outside. I gave mine a blanket for an early Christmas. She immediately understood that it was "Hers". I'd never purchased a Christmas gift for a dog before but I've never owned a miniature Dachshund before either. These dogs burrow their way into an old man's heart very quickly. I used to not like Doxies, now I regret missing out on owning one for all those years.

she looks like my little Penny, who I lost after 15 years of joy and love. I saw her, thought of a 'copper red penny' and that was her name, Penny. If there's a heaven, that's where she is.
