Terragen: Longer, Better Quality

This is a video I created using Terragen, a free landscape generator. I made the landscape, plotted the flight path, rendered the frames, and built the animation. This was one of the longest renders I had created to date, and one of the better ones.

It took FOREVER on my relatively slow PC... I'm working on my first new animation in a while - it is a 1:15 loop, using the stereo script from the campath site... it will be rendered in cross-eyed 3D. :-) (Which means rendering the animation TWICE heh... once for each eye.) It should be done and posted in a few days. Terragen is good stuff if you've got the time to fiddle... and my stuff is relatively half assed - it can do so much more. heh

i never knew you could make a movie using terragen, can i have an instructions link?

there is a plugin for terragen, a waypoint tool with that you can easily set the waypoints and camera angles

there is also a program named CamPath, you load the .ter file in it and plot the paths.
