Saw this street vender really pounding the mochi. That's one way to attract attention.

  • @2naruto1 no, Nara is a place. what needs pounding is Mochi, a rice cake made by pounding a really glutinous rice then molding the paste. Here it's green- most likely because they added matcha to the mix ^_^ yum~

  • Good workout.

  • We tried it for new years eve

  • @jojomojojones Can you do that? Bet you can't. (:

You'd probably get your hand smashed.

    Is it stupid now?

  • @jojomojojones its was traditional way that they done in the past hundred of years... never forget about your tradition...

  • Yuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuum

  • HEY! HI! HEY! HI! HEY! HI!

  • É cada doido nesse mundo........

  • @CRdreamer Actually parboiled or powdered yomogi (mugwort) is normally added to make it green. One packet of the powdered yomogi is enough for a 5 lb. bag of mochi rice.

  • my limit was 10 times when i was a kid. to swing the heavy hammer is really really harder than it looks.
