Madrid flamenco, el Arco de cuchilleras, semana santa 2011,

Definitely a place i'd recommend to find a shockingly cheap priced performance of traditional flamenco dancing in Madrid. whilst most places charge around €25 and above we found 'El Arco de cuchilleras' for €11 each including an alcoholic drink, however I'd recommend to eat beforehand as 'raciones' started at €11. the decor of the taverna is not only cosy but the several Spanish paintings hung on the wall, certainly give the place a very authentic feel. Starting at 10.30pm the show continued past midnight but having arrived that day, we just had to get some sleep. All in all a lovely little place to watch flamenco on a budget/ Erasmus / or whether trying to find flamenco at the last minute like we did :) hope that's helpful x
