  • and no punches to the body???? videos like this should show more levels of punching so beginners learn properly. both of these guys are expecting the same punches which is easy to block.

  • @bobbypendel Hey there, its hard to fit all that in a short video, but will try to upload another one if it will help you out.

  • What if you feint to head but goes to body, its open like 7/11..

  • @connymat yes, that is also an option

  • This guys a thaiboxer. He was a great fighter. Here he's just demonstarting basic punching. If you look at mma all the basics for stand up come from muay thai and boxing. Besides how can a sport or an art be gay?

  • these blocks are Muay thai or MMA but not boxing.

  • they sound like an instrumental when they throw their punches

  • I don't see why people block the jabs with their right hand like you do. It works much easier to cover up when u see a jab coming.

  • @bustballz MMA is about using your personal choice of fighting method against another.

    Boxing vs. karate

    muay thai vs. kick boxing

    BJJ vs. wrestling

    etc.

boxing is fun and as effective form of self defence

with out boxing there would be no MMA

  • I'll bet those two do some heavy sparring. I sensed some competitiveness between them. Good job keeping it simple. I get disgusted when guys come into the gym, thinking they know it all. I find the ones who can't focus on what you're trying to teach them, never get very far. Repitition, repitition. In the words of Jake LaMotta, "if you want to be good in life, you have to do boring things".

  • boxing is GAY...MMA is for real men

  • @uponmysoapbox1 Thank You!!!!! These friggin armchair fighters are so damn stupid.

  • Sigh...what if they switch kick then punch? What about elbows? Should I pull out an Uzi? What if a tree falls on me? For cryin' out loud, it's a simple demonstration, very well executed by the way, of the most basic defense against the most basic...AND COMMON...combination throwin in almost every pugilistic sport. And anyone who has Sugarfoot Cunningham helping knows what they're doing! Thanks for posting this video.
