"OM NAMO BHAGAVATE VASUDEVAYA"

This mantra literally translates to "Oh, my Lord, the all-pervading Personality of Godhead, I offer my respectful obeisances unto You."

While chanting or meditating upon this mantra it is helpful to focus our intention on acknowledging a power greater than us and allowing ourselves to put our burdens in that power's hands so we can let go of our attachment to control. If we can learn to let go and trust in a greater power than ourselves -- whatever we choose to name it -- than we can experience greater peace in our lives.

Krishna is one of the most loved deities in Hinduism for his playfulness and joyful demeanor. He is also the source of the Bhagavad-Gita.

I am unsure of how to pronounce Sri Krishna. Most people tell me it is "Shree Krishna" but I can;t help but feel like the "R's" are supposed to be rolled like when speaking Spanish. Almost as if you are pronouncing it "Sdri Kdrishna" What do you guys think. I can't help but feel like people say its supposed to be "Shree Krishna" simple because they are unable to roll their tongues... Amazing voice by the way!
