Mike G's X-Trail @ AWDC Driveround. Aug-11

My completely standard 2.2td Nissan X-Trail.....

We came to have a go on the AWDC's driveround @ slab common, kinda at the last minute.
I wasn't really sure what to expect, and didn't know if the X-Trail would be any good (to be honest, I thought it would be crap). It did really well considering!

The stuff on this video was filmed early on and looks fairly sedate, but we went up/over/through loads of crazy stuff towards the end of the day. Didn't film much of it though cos we were having too much fun!

We bottomed out a fair bit but didn't do any damage. Should be better next time as I have a few things in the pipeline: Larger tyres. 3inch lift. Smaller centre/rear exhaust boxes. Removable tow bar. Some bash plates here and there..... It's not going to make it an off road legend, but it'll do....

Can't wait for the next one.
