Well I was going through old videos, and I decided to upload this before deleting it. Here is the Polaris Seaplnane that I made some time ago. I accidently had the flaps in an upward position when taking off (oops). Fun plane to fly, and drive around. I did not attempt to get it wet, I did not have a water worthy build. Maybe later...

  • I built one of these 1 1/2 years ago having crashed it had to build another one recently. They really are fun to fly on grass, snow, water what ever just a fun plane. And they can take some hard abuse thanks for sharing!!!!

  • @flyby8906 It is worth taking the time to rebuild! Do you use Depron? I used foam board, so I was not able to get it in the water. I am having a hard time finding it locally.

  • Hey not bad at all. Like the colors. Looks like it handled the wind OK. Thanks for the vid.

  • @ptstptwi It handles great, I have not had any bad experiences with it yet.

  • Nice, I might make one of these it´s a real nice looking aeroplane :-)

  • Just built one of these . Used foam board from Wall mart and 5 minute epoxy. I added a KF2 airfoil, just the top leading eadge back about 4 inches in middle tapers to 1inch on tips. Super stable flyer, very smooth. I think the KF added quite abit, especially better in the wind.. I have a MJ V3 , 20 amp ESC and 2200 MaH batt.

  • Man I made one of these too. first one ,first flight it went up like a rocket then came strait down like a lawn dart. .I started another one out of foam board foam. I removed the paper. It is quite light . I am very afraid to finish it and demolish it. but hey why not I have all the electronics. I just have a hard time finding the CG. Any suggestions on finding the CG? I am using a pattern from RC forums group. from the how2rc guy.

  • @minfinger Thanks, I really enjoy this plane. Appreciate the comment!
