Me Mucking around with a Canon Powershot SX30 IS in my backyard one rainy day. Video has close ups of my keyboard, snails, plants etc. For some reason like a thousand snails all gathered on our entertaining area and we killed some and an hour later i went out and the live snails were eating the dead snails. mmm delicious.
The quality is better than what other examples I have seen demonstrating this camera. Camera Settings: Macro, Auto ISO

for the price of the sx30 you can do a lot with it, the down side of it is that you can't attach lenses to it but it's a good beginner camera (you can attach filters, i'd recommend a polarising filter). I'm currently saving up to buy a DSLR. One suggestion I could make is if you think your gonna get into photography then consider spending the extra money upfront for a DSLR. Thanks for commenting
