the only reason people dont search on mobile is because it is much easier to flick the screen and open the app than to type its name for search, and google is working on voice search which will eventually overcome that problem.
and if this moron claims that google search wil die soon, then he is assuming that people will stop using their desktops, laptops, tablets etc and use only their 3.5" iphone.

this guy is saying that, because mobile is the future, "search" is going away. and it makes sense. he says that (and using research and facts to back up his statement) search is going to become insignificant, compared to what it is now, in the future. Although you can agree or disagree with him on how important search will still be to google by then, the fact is, google makes little ad revenue with Android in comparison to their search business.
