This video is to show the public how to properly cut the excess lace off from your full lace wig. Excess lace has been known to be left out a bit when working in the Entertainment department i.e theatre, films, etc.

I suggest when wearing a wig daily to cut the excess lace completely off. There's no reason to keep it on if you are not returning it to a wig master, company, or studio. The lace can fray, rather you cut the lace completely off or leave a bit of the excess lace attached. If cared for properly and sealing your knots after every wash, you should not have a fraying problem.

Blessings,

Sophie

  • Hey Lady!

Very gorgeous wigs! I would like to know if you have any full or front lace wigs with a full bang in 12 inches in #2 light yaki indian remy? I did see you had a lace wig with bangs but cut in a jagged form. I think id rather get something similar to what Tyra banks and Rhianna once had to cover my huge forehead. Let me know. Also, how long will it take to have it done custom?

Thank you so much girl! I appreciate your service!

  • Hello my creative sister... thank you, thank you, thank you for your comment.. It is soooo appreciated, and keeps me moving when I get tired..lol... thx so much..

I can surely incorporate a full deep bang into a 12" stock wig if you like, but you know I'm an advocate for custom made units..hehe. A custom made unit take roughly 18 days to 6 weeks depending on how many your order, or if you want a silk top incorporated into the lace wig. I average 18 days however, and have had 5 delays in 3 years

  • I would support and purchase your products. your videos and attitude/passion about this product is such a blessing. Thank you. Im glad you were alone during the application because I was as well so seeing that I can do it alone was so exciting. The mere thought of having to get someone to help me or go out into a public salon to get assistance was not an option. Thanks again.

  • Absolutely, thank you so much... It can be a huge inconvience for you if the salon does not have a private room for their clients.. I plan on having private pampering rooms in my shops for my clients who do not everyone to see the "Before and After".. you know what I mean.. If you can do it yourself.. I say go for it sistah... Blessings to you,

    Sophie

  • hello do u hjave synthetic full lace wig and how much is it? whoaaa i would be surprised if u did have one......

  • Good point CFD... this is an option... it's all in what you'd like to do for your hair... I also have custom made units that can fit behind your natural hairline as to not disturb your hairline as well... thank you so much for your feedback... it is true..

  • hi, i know you didnt ask me, but this is what a couple of my friends, as well as many other women. Shave the hairline (1/2 to 1 full inch) so as to give your wig the placement of your would-be natural hairline. this way (especially since your hairline is so close to eyebrows) you dont end up with that "neanderthal" look. my cousin did that one time. i had to let her down gently. Some are hesitant to do this, but the hair WILL grow back and your only shaving off a tiny bit anyways. hope i helped!

  • hey girl! ive been watching your tutorials/videos for quite awhile now. They are indeed very helpful!! Thank you.I have a question though: my hairline is VERY rare. Its not only close to my beautiful face but also arches in the center (my forehead region). What would u recommend I do as far as applying a full lace goes? If i adhere it in front of my hairline, it will be close to my eyebrows- not having that natural look aat all ;[

  • i wish i could get one of ur wigs so bad cuz ur quailty is definetly their and is highly noticed but honestly i wish w/ all my heart i could get one of ur wigs but not for me even but for my sister who sufers from thining and balding but i could never be able to aford one fr her but anyways keep up the great wrk god bless

  • Yes ma'am. This is the current pricelist for the KC-1 line...the synthetic full lace wigs. Human hair full lace wigs are a little more expensive, but attainable with me, as I make sure to cater to all...
