Richard is a great hypnoist. I like his style though agree that the use of the word 'sleep' can be confusing and doesnt usually add much to a hypnotherapy session. I explain 'sleep' breifly prior to the induction and in more general terms in the pre talk. my video shows the word 'sleep' being used but one can also imagine any other term being substituted.

one question i have for you is this. Are you against the sleep command because I have never seen you use it in any one of your demos.

No "against" it, just rarely use it. I want to be clear with clients, and the sleep command requires I explain sleep in hypnosis is not nighttime sleep. My theory, why add one more item to the pre-talk when other words (like hypnosis and trance) are clearer in meaning. But either way is fine,
