@rwheeles ALL MY RESPECT AND GRATITUDE TO YOU AND THE REST OF THE BAND! This song reminds me of an after school dance in our cafeteria. SInce the sun was still shining nobody wanted to dance! The DJ asked me and a girl to start off We didn't know what he was going to play and to our surprise he played Every Beat of My Heart! Moments later a bunch of kids joined us to this song! Thanks so much for the good memories!
@rwheeles You guys were great. I played the trombone back then and you guys songs were/ are the Joint. Real instruments. I really can't choose my favorite Crown Heights Affair jam.
I was a member of the group from '73 to '75 (trombone). They were some of the most amazing times of my life and we were like brothers. We opened for Kool & the Gang, James Brow and others.. Thanks for sharing the memories. May Burt rest in peace....
