@H2HOtex im a heat fan but im happy for dirk and kidd and i realized dat the heat have 5 years left with each other and will dominate da decade maybe the knicks and thunder will be involved too but the mavs r done! this was dirks last shot at a title and its rebuilding time for the mavs...happy for da mavs but also happy to know that the heat r only getting better!!

I've heard that countless times and no they weren't rigged. David Stern tried to rig it to where Miami would win though.

wade there is noway as good as he is now. 2006 his jump shot was broke and he didt take it like he knew it was going in., plus he was kinda slow like thinkin about his moves not just doing them. they slole that chip from dallas and dallas stole them back. i wonder which one is more sweeter

@LastSunrise1981 idisagree. The league had to make amends for the 2006 rigging. They wanted the Heat and Mavs to play in the Finals the whole way,david stern probably told lebron to play mediocre games to keep the series close, and its not as obvious as calling phantom calls,dallas has a team with a bunch of vetrans with no rings and this finals might be their last chance to win.......how could lebron defeat the best defensive teams now all of a sudden in forgets how to play....smh

Yes, Miami is a big market city since it's obviously Florida. I think what you fail to understand is the NBA was promoting Shaq and Wade as the next Shaq/Kobe. All of the commercials featured them, the highlights featured them, and the hype was all about them to where it generated money for Miami and the NBA. So yes, the 2006 Finals in my opinion was rigged for Miami.

Thankfully in 2011 the determination of Dallas and the team effort prevented another rigged series.

the difference from 06" and 11" is that in 06 they got Alonzo mourning and better defenders, their defense were much better, u could see the key blocks that Mourning had and the defense Gary Payton put on Terry, its monster, if mourning was in the paint in 2011, those Notwitski lay-ups wont be in existence....those Terry 3's won't be their as well.
