Love the way the old cars used to move around. So much more skill.
-
is is real that F1 looked MUCH faster in the "old days"??
-
That's nice driving by Schumacher. He would have been a much better driver if he hadn't made some bad moves against other drivers.

@thrillathakilla 300 Km/h on a bicycle is fun :D
-
@Killerkarpfen1990 Before Michael Schumacher got in that car he had been around Spa... on a bicycle.
-
A story from my driving teacher, dunno if it is true. In 91 Michael first tested in Spa although he didn't know the track. During the tests his times already were very good and then he asked the team: Should I go closer to the limit now?
The team didn't believe their ears.

ah yes...the good old days!
-
this was the time when schumacher had the bit between his teeth!

@ilferrari agreed and also if this track had the same old sand traps today....half of the field will be out of the race....seriously, some of today's racers are not fit to drive an F1 car. If you make a mistake, you have to be punished. Bring back the old sand traps like jackie stewart said
Hi MSx91: Michael and Ayrton was 1991 the onliest who drove flat out in eau rouge and the last corner before busstop. The telemetry dates was very clearly. But rethink Ayrton has experience and Schumacher was first time on his live on this track! You know what i mean? The Jordan 91 was a great car with great aerodynamics but the brave German drove both critical turns flat out!! Thomas

@samothsamothsamoth Good thing that you're pointing out. I didn't know that actually. During that weekend, Schumacher already was faster than his team-mate, de Cesaris, in all sessions. Also in the secttors that de Cesaris had driving problems, Michael knows how to deal with those.
Thanks for posting.
