  • Hey rcthreats first off you are mentally unstable (you should get that checked) Yes i agree with you the RCMP are there to serve and protect. They were serving and protecting the innocent bystanders in case he decided to throw a chair at them. The officers were protecting themselves from a man who had been throwing around furniture for 20 minutes before they arrived. Plus why would the officers stand around for hours waiting for a translator when he is being violent?

  • Mentally unstable LOL, this I find funny LOL , well it take another mentally unstable person to recognise another indeed so, check yourself...Secondly, still not a reason to taser him behind glass, last time i check when i was in law enforcement, you secured the area, oh right, the area was secured.......so your statement is not relavant here..THANKS FOR PLAYING , HERE IS YOUR QUARTER BACK...

  • I got beat up by 3 cops in the back alley with cuffs on my hands behind my back they were looking for a bag of weed and I wasnt telling I got broken ribs and broken nose after Ive been kicked and stomped while laying on the ground The only reason for them to stop me was racial profiling white in the black neighborhood. btw. The guy that got tased Robert Dziekanski was Polish (just like me) not Russian. Rest in peace Robert.

  • I knwo he was a Pole, But i went over this in a previous thread.....RCMP said he was speaking Russian, did you listen to teh words or watch the action indeed

  • loved your video

  • He didn't die from the tazer shot . He ended up dying of positional asphyxia. Robert D. was 6'9 and over 300lbs. When he went to the ground face down his own weight plus the weight of the officers killed him. Its unfortunate and hopefully a lesson can be learned from it. As for taking away the taser do you really want someone such a loved one who might be flipping out face a 9mm or 40 cal round or would you rather chance a 5 second burst from the taser?

  • an interpeter and let him continue to cause a disturbance? From a common sense point of view if your in a public place yelling and throwing things around and then four armed officers confront you I think that is universal language for I need to stop what I am doing and calm down. How many times you see a cop on the highway and you instinctively check your speedometer, same principle. You see him so your not going to attract attention to yourself.

  • What you have had them do man? Old traditional, billy clubs or flashlights to the head, slapjacks. They're just as lethal. If you made it in the academy far enough you would have learned about such things as excited delirium and a hit from a Taser does not always ensure incapacitation the first time. Another question, if you went to Russia or Poland what language do you think the cops are going to speak? Should they have stood there waiting God knows how long for someone to find an ..

  • (Just using a random example as a reference) - Look at Malice Green a resident of Detroit Michigan - This man was beaten to death by police with a flashlight back in 1992. Perhaps if he had been tased he might still be alive- or maybe he wouldnt. But I wouldnt know because Im not a law enforcement officer. But I think the police would look just as bad over beating someone to death, as they would for tasing a person to death.

  • Well you claim to have had police training at the Academy? - I havent, so you know much more than I do and have the expertise. But what if using a club weapon resulted in a death?. Whatever a police officer would use, a nightstick, baton, flashlight or a billy-club. Especially if the individual was struck in the temple and killed. They would look just as bad from accidentally bludgeoned someone to death.

  • The Taser was invented to eradicate such use of bludgeons and blunt force trauma

Im aware that the Taser went from being called a (non-lethal weapon), to being called a (less lethal weapon) so there have obviously been many more deaths caused by it.

But people know that they cause (heart attacks), (heart failure) and (cardiac arrest) - and all of the above.

You do have a valid argument here

  • Well there two sides to every story - this is a double-edged sword. On one hand you have the RCMP lying and falsifying the events that have taken place. Whereas on the other hand you have a irrational irate individual in a international airport, breaking computers, and tossing chairs. I mean we can all agree that this man should have been arrested and detained? Am I right?. There was no excuse for that kind of uncivilized behavior. But tasing the man twice- that was excessive

  • right on the mark..! those thugs should be booted out fast.

Reading the opinions to the contrary only prove that there are lots more thugs out there supporting their RCMP cousins, and they too wear a uniform.

  • Thanks Bud for your passion and posting your thoughts....agree 100% but those officers did not lose thier livelihood or their job or their pay...!!!! NOTHING HAS HAPPENED TO THEM!!! They are all still on the payroll and free men

  • Bravo. Thank you for your comments directed towards our shameful police. Canada was shamed in front of the world 2 years ago, and the world hopefully will not forget.
