"Lord you are my champion.... Thank you for seeing us through it all.... " - Yea ur right...so in what way does Obama fit IN in the song? Yea God is good and has done everything for us...where in this song does Obama fit in or come in? Is he supposed to share the spotlight?....I believe Obama is a great man, but all I'm saying is - this was not a fit song for him because it's a song that's only intended for God. Period.

" - the song lyrics LITERALLY say "Lord you're my champion...." so how is it referencing Obama? I could have a song with the word "tree" in it, if i sing it to you - does that mean ur a tree?

The song was meant for God. You wouldn't take amazing grace and dedicate to Jay-Z would you? Or Precious Lord and dedicate it to Beyonce...? And God has STILL done amazing things - whether Obama is here or not. The point is....you can't really give tribute to Obama using a song that's dedicated to someone else....I could see if someone else's NAME wasn't in it...but someone else's name IS.
