Captain Vegetable shalt never die.
Clausule, who uploaded many Sesamstraat videos to YouTube, was unfortunately suspended yesterday, for whatever reason. The English version of Captain Vegetable was one of his videos. So, here it is once again: The beloved song from 1983.

Lol I can't remember watching this but my mother bought my brother and me the 20th anniversary cassette tape and it had this song on here. It brings back good memories of good songs. I wish I still had that tape.

@wsegal That is SO COOL!!!! I didn't end up doing that for 2011 because I forgot about it... How did the whiskers stay on? Did people recognize who you were? I'll bet you ended up singing the song all night. :)

This song is so awesome, it made me get a hankering for something healthy to snack on. *munches on an apple slice* Three cheers for Captian Vegetable! CRUNCH, CRUNCH, CRUNCH! I think Captian Vegetable should have a partner called Fruitman. They could work together to let everyone know the importance of eating healthy foods.

(the other two in this video are obviously Henson and Nelson)

@athull08 Eddie is in fact performed by Hunt, using a voice very similar to Lugsy from Bunny Picnic. I don't hear a single trace of Oz in that voice.
