Thanks for your video. I read the article in Women's Day and they do seem to minimalize the severity of what RA can do to the body. I have been on Enbrel and Methotrexate for 10 years and I have lost four joints; both hips, my right shoulder and my left elbow. Today my Rheumotolgist says I may need a knee replacement. I don't think these medications are slowing down the progress and I won't ever have the life I used to.
I agree - wake up WD and others who have NO CLUE what RA is like -- just because it is invisible doesn't mean it isn't real - you can't see it but you can feel the daily pain and stiffness and depression. Please take the time to listen to those of us that suffer every day from this disease - stop dressing it up 'pretty' our lives are forever changed.
this is so true. I don't know what I would do without my kids and my husband who have , selflessly given of themselves so that I could go with them to do something. or even go to church on Sunday my husband helps me to get dressed and then dresses himself. It is just not that easy.
Wake up Women's Day. Let's get this right this time. You must have someone working for you in your big organization that actually has RA in the moderate to severe form, that would help you to see what it actually means to suffer with this chronic disease.
