David Archuleta, Wating On The World To Change, FoxUtah, July 15, 2008, Salt Lake City

When David Archuleta was in Salt Lake City, July 15, 2008 while on tour with The Amerian Idols Live Concert Tour, he found time, in spite of his breakneck schedule, to make local appearances and performances in his home town (so generous to his fans, especially his homies!) and this is one of several such appearances on the local SLC Fox affiliate. This performance is among my FAVORITES in David HISTORY. Thank you David!

With all due respect, I am sick—SICK I tell ya *pounds fist*—of comparisons to J. Groban. Pfft! SO WRONG! Yes, David is a genius at ballads, but he shall NOT *brandishes fist* be locked away in Ballad Boy BOX. He is that & OH, SO MUCH MORE! David is endowed with so much soulful guh-roovitude it ain't even funny. heh. ok done now.

This is a great song and I really like JM's original song, but I love, love David's soulful version.

Y'know, it's not just that I love David's soulful version of this song, but I love how his wicked soulful groove is just so bonafide and FINE, and DEAD ON and BRILLIANT, no matter what song he slaps it on. *Sigh*. He be SO fine.

Not only is this one of my all time fave little organic soulful performances by David Archuleta, but it turns out it was during his madly grueling Idol Concert Tour, it was in the MORNING and he'd overslept and I think was even a little late for this performance,(he says he is NOT a morning person...lol) ... AND he had allergies! And YET, he delivers this spine disintegrating litle performance. Gah! LOVE THIS KID MADLY!

LOL, could not agree with you more!!! Groban? Bublé? wha??? I mean, I like grape juice but it ain't fine wine, if you catch my drift.... what I love about this clip is the way he gets progressively more into it, like a rollercoaster inching toward the top, then he rounds the bend, and just lets that "soulful guh-roovitude" (love that!) fly to the finish. wheeee! hahahaha
