Suffocation as much as they rule did not invent breakdowns. Do some research.

@Gado911 I am aware that they did not "invent" breakdowns, but they were among the first to use them in Death Metal. When they used them it did not take away from the momentum or intensity of the song, unlike Deathcore bands that make breakdowns the focus of the song, resulting in a boring mess of :chugga dun dun"
