@walidot I suggest that you ask a knowledgeable scholar like sheikh al-shingeeti and see what he has to say about the alleged "attacked by Omar" incident before jumping to conculsions like "they know nothing".

Did YOU know that Ali married his beloved daughter, Um Kulthoom, to Omar? Do you also know that she was the daughter of Fatima? The marriage took place when Omar was caliph, which was after Fatima's death. May Allah be pleased with them all.

I dear you if you love Alie and fatma may allah be pleased with them more then me and then shakh .
