The new guys are good musicians, but there's just no way they can match the originals, especially compared to Terry Kath.

This is cool. But, this is the new take on Free that Chicago has been playing in concert ever since, with a straight groove, that, sorry, kinda drags. Check out the 1974 performance from the Rockies TV show here where the band, led by the amazing Danny Seraphine on drums truly smokes.

From the first note on it sounds like shit & it only picks up until the horns kick in. Digital technology completely ruined all music. Nothing compared to the original versions despite the horn section trying its best.

No where near the same. Terry with Peter. Before '77. I'm family (close) and I agree. I grew up in the house where they practiced in before they "made it". I love these guys. The new ones- not so much. I sat on the stage while they played. That was the great stuff.

i love chicago but why the singer has to use profanity before the song while he is interacting w/ the crowd?

What a great performance of Free! 1994 was the first year for the current version of Free that is performed in concert. This tour also featured "Caravan" (pre Big Band release) and the full length Introduction. DaWayne just absolutly tears it up in this version.
