  • You said it best! I've ran into that more often than I'd like to.... My guess is that some people do this because of insecurities within themselves that they have yet to face.

  • Right on! I think assumptions come from moving out of the present (the only time we have) and what's REAL -- into negative fantasies. Fantasies we use to create distance from whomever we're with,maybe? People engaged in attraction seem to move only two ways, they're getting closer and/or they're creating distance. Distance without negative fantasies is known as "space" -- space to feel and space to be real. Distancing thru negative fantasies is about staying safe, separate and alone, maybe?
