  • Nice animation; just a note: the Anterior Communicating Artery is usually rather small and short, smaller than the anterior cerebrals, anyway, though it is emphasized by some because it completes the Circle of Willis.

    Also, "bass'ilar" is the pronunciation preferred for the basilar artery.

  • "AngioGRAM" is the picture;[ -'graph' would only refer to the machine taking the picture]. "Angiography" is the procedure of making the picture.

  • I suppose that wasn't exactly quickly, but i have just discovered this video.

  • smoking and a diet high in fats, sodium, and sugar add to the risk of weakening of arteries. high blood pressure also adds to the risk. if you have a family history of aneurysms, you are more at risk, also if you are a male over 65.

  • Is there a way to prevent aneurysms with diet, lifestyle change, etc?? PLEASE reply quickly..thanx! ;-)

    p.s. can aneurysms be caused by exercising?
