Would you say that the game is easy to pick up and play?

@illage2 Yes. There are some things that will have a small learning curve but there are so many video's on here to look at if you have problems. I played a lot of sim city in the past, but it had been well over a year since I had last played that when this came out. I was able to pick it up and build this and my online city with no problems.

@seanmurray2010 Cheap mans? I would not call it that. I would call it competition for a game that no longer is in production. It filled the void and did it nicely. Not for everyone, but dont know it until you have given it a serious chance. I was very wary at first, but I made these videos to show off how good it is against people who nocked it without honestly trying it.

@jock0man Quite a lot actually, I am working on a video I hope to put out in a week or two depending on my time over the next two weekends. This video will show case the differences between them. IMO 2011 is the better game. It took the quality of the first and enhanced it with better economics and trading for a true city wide economy.

Mainly graphics, the user interface also changed a little bit, of course, the fixes to common problems and the new features as well but that's to be expected.

I have picked up both games and never seriously played either of them, however recently I got back into SimCity4 (an amazing game for 2003) and had an amazing time, then I remembered Cities XL and it looks breathtaking but from what I hear it isnt that good, however serious players love it.

What do you guys thing? Ripskin?

This game is amazing and gives the real opportunity to balance with precision every strategy in building cities. It requires a lot of accuracy and thorough thinking in order to achieve a high result. I could say that it is better than SC4 because it combines more new elements such as resources and also provides better link between various things which transforms the game into a challenging experience. Thank you developers!

I dont know if its implemented but: This game could have been develepoed further. I mean,there could have been multiplayer with 2-4 players and in the later game there would be wars and you need to maintain your resources while still building more barrackses and army bases to keep fighting,tank factorys and things like that.
