I've ordered a new one for next year.

Although I respect the guys who love to tinker and tune - I don't care about any of that (cos I aint got a clue..)

I wanna ride a 500 single that looks like something my dad rode but doesn't break down or leak.

I was a Bike Mechanic in India for many years (1970s). Now work here in San Francisco, Still every day I ride Bike for work. I see Enfield have changed Engine putting E F I is cheaper than Carburetor once it is set up, There were problems Front Fork Suspension, Brakes, Steering, I hope they have fixed all those. I want to see what are the Improvement they made.

@pollayilalex Yes Alex, the new gen RE comes with an EFI. Which makes it more fuel efficient & better powered.

It does meet International standards emission wise- Now equivalent to Euro4.

We never change, we are still in the 1960's, Enfield Bullet is same, is there any improvement made for the sake of better fuel efficiency? and emission? safety and brakes? will it meet any Emission and Highway safety standards UK, USA, Germany, Australia or Canada ?
