Perhaps the next time your God creates he won't choose a special people out of his creation and write great portions of his book only for them. Or perhaps he'll make that whole thing a whole lot clearer so as to alleviate hundreds of millions of deaths.... in his glory. Not that the greatest and most intelligent being in the universe wouldn't have thought of this. I'm sure it's for our own good.

It shouldn't be so easy to take out of context.

Grow up. Who is your God that he would demand worship of men, if they don't bow down to me and accept my son then they will burn in hell. All these are concepts of men. If there was a God I would think he or she would be a little wiser. Also why do you live under a roof while people are homeless and hungry, go into the woods like John and live off of locust, and give all you have to the poor. If there was a God I'm sure he would destroy all the churches, as holiness has no home in them.

The word of God would be an absolutely perfect book. The existence of well meaning help videos and books on how to read the Bible just shows that it is confusing, ambiguous, and just contradictory at times. It is obviously not perfect, since books cannot be perfect expressions of the inner mind's thoughts and ideas, and neither can words.

The existence of so many interpretations shows just how imperfect a tool it is. The perfect word would be undeniable and would shine the same everywhere.
