  • That Dog looks like Popeye, and the Voice of Bluto!

  • I AGREE!

  • 1944 was a leap year...maybe the film was produced then.

  • I don't think that that's even a refrigerator at 5:40...it looks like it's an old-fashioned ice box.

  • Just for the record, Michael, here's how it goes.

FAMOUS STUDIOS was the animation DIVISION of PARAMOUNT PICTURES, who made these cartoons originally.

"NOVELTOON" was one of Paramount's CATEGORICAL CARTOON SERIES BRANDS.

The HARVEY ENTERTAINMENT Company bought the Paramount FAMOUS STUDIOS cartoon catalog in 1962, and the majority of the characters from that period not tied to other comic companies are now owned by Harvey.

  • this is a dope cartoon :) im enjoying every minute of it ... i jus might sample sum clips for a new beat ... say cheese ... skull damage records 2010

  • 29 days???? about 11 more and the body dies out

  • They kill each other,

and I've brough the Ice Box,

    Ha, Ha, Ha,

  • WHAT IS UP WITH THE SOUND??? This is on dvd/vhs, with the beginning opening edited/blocked out, and the cartoon itself ranges from good to fair quality print. Isnt this a public domain cartoon? I guess that "HarveyToons" & "Noveltoon" are 2 seperate entities. I couldnt find this on a list on wikipedia, and it is not on Harveytoons: The Complete Collection ...

  • weird thing: I guess there was 3 companies: HarveyToons, Famous Studios & Noveltoon. Because I remember I saw this cartoon (beginning edited to heak...) either at a late night tv showing of an old film plus a cartoon they didnt even announce (I videotaped it and saved it somewhere) then this is also avaliable on some multi feature dvd (for 1 dollar at 7-11) with 2 sci-fi or 2 other type films. It also contains this cartoon, but the beginning opening has been edited like you wont believe.
