@pastorgeorgem thank you for your response...I have a 05' P71...I noticed that the "title" of the vehicle was colored "orange" and the title said "police" ..i was like wooow...however the p71 does take off like a trooper.. the owner told me there is nothing takin out of the engine/trans...so ...i dunno...but she will ride...!!!!

@The7miledogg It is a Performance Chip I had the manual on how to remove these when a patrol car was totaled or going to auction so for the idiots who say these chips are a myth think again some of the lincolns and taxis had the same or close to the same performance settings but none could handle the p71 series crown vics but boy do they have a snappy engine performance and nice stock shift pattern if they did not reset the shift pattern on the trans comp then maybe you have one

@jongeddes09 Hmmmm interesting you say this because i heard the "state trooper" vehicles i heard come with "high performance" equipment for the engine & trans...& i've seen how they take off...
