"Tarantino's Basterds" - MTV Contest Entry

chosen as ONE OF THE TOP THREE ENTRIES in the mtv 'inglorious basterds' contest which has filmmakers parody any scene from a tarantino film and the top films are then judged by quentin tarantino himself and announced on monday, august 10th.

shot and completed in 48 hours.

winners receive endless amounts of free things (hd tvs, cash etc) and, primarily, two tickets to toronto to see the exclusive canadian premiere screening of the film.

The whole copyright part is a real gray area. The rules say that MTV won't disqualify you, but their sponsor MAY if they feel like it, and it also states that the sponsor MAY just censor or remove the music or whatever else was copywritten from your video.
