Every thing you do if it's in God's name should be done with a smile. If you are telling some one of the great love you feel knowing Jesus then it should follow suit that love should show . If you feel your fist clinch , your teeth grit , or your voice raise then you should stop doing what your doing because it isn't about the love of Jesus .Funny how the one man who could cast the first stone didn't .

  • Do what builds up, not what tears down. Tear down the flesh in love and build up the spirit by the gospel of Christ. The "Law of Liberty" can set you free if you believe it and obey. Die to the flesh and live to the spirit God has placed in you to His glory and honor. Reflect that love God has shown you through Christ Jesus. Amen

  • Well said .

  • @catshadow7 God's wrath is his alone. None of us human beings can stand with his rightnous none of us.Jesus could've spent his ministry hurling rocks at all the sinners of the world , the fact that he didn't means we being imperfect shouldn't either. Jesus never rebuked Gentiles or out right sinners he chastized people and leaders that should've known better. People know they are sinners most are proud of it. Jesus never said to go around and condem the world in his place.

  • Sketcher is saying someone shouldn't point there finger at someone else. A person should only help someone when lead by the Holy Spirit because otherwise all they'll do is mess it up. When doing so nothing bothers you and all you feel is love for that person.

  • I couldn't agree with you more.

  • I generally reserve anger for myself. I can quite agree we shouldn't be speaking in anger to someone when trying to tell them the gospel. I just don't think that a smile is always right though, for some components of the message it can be. But in talking of sin, considering my guilt, I find it hard not to be at least close to tears, and in talking of the cross, just considering again what Christ has done for me, a smile perhaps, but also a tear considering his sufferring.

  • I only ment when your speaking about the love of God leave the anger and blame at home.

  • From my expereince when faithfully describing sin it's more appropriate to be close to tears than smiling.

  • In a way yes. Not a silly smile but with a loving heart. Im not saying you have to laugh with sin or at sin but who among us aren't sinners? We shouldnt be preaching the word with blame on our lips when we are all to blame. The love of Christ and the forgiveness of Christ has the power to cleanse us of our sin . So theres good reason to smile.

  • So I'm talking about sin and I'm meant to smile?
