Mongolian live-music from group "Egschiglen" at ITB Berlin 2010, #2

Mongolian music presented live by three members of group "Egschiglen" on the exhibition stand of Mongolia on Friday, March 12th, during ITB 2010 in Berlin.
Rhythm and melody are played on typical mongolian instrument called "Morin khuur" (type of fiddle with horse's head shaped headstock) accompanied by - for western people quite unusual sounding - mongolian throat singing.

Drei Mitglieder der mongolischen Gruppe "Egschiglen" präsentierten am Freitag, 12. März, mongolische Musik auf dem Ausstellungsstand der Mongolei auf der ITB 2010 in Berlin.
Die Begleitung erfolgt auf dem typischen mongolischen Instrument, der Pferdekopfgeige ( "Morin khuur"), dazu der - für unsere westliche Ohren ungewohnte - Kehlkopfgesang mit Obertonstimme.

Sehr interessante Musik und eine interessante Stimme. Mongolische Musik kannte ich bislang nicht, aber das wird sich ändern.
