This buffalo chicken dip recipe makes a great Super Bowl recipe or game day recipe anytime. And if you're looking for an appetizer you can bring to a Super Bowl party, this recipe is a real winner.

Look for the written recipe for this buffalo chicken dip at www.theironchefmom.com.

To make this buffalo chicken dip recipe, you will need:

8 oz. cream cheese, softened to room temperature
2 cups cooked shredded chicken - I'm using leftover rotisserie chicken, but you can also use canned chicken
1/2 cup ranch salad dressing
1/3 to 1/2 cup buffalo wing sauce (depending on how hot you like your buffalo chicken)
1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Spray a pie plate or 1-quart casserole dish with cooking spray.

Cut the cream cheese into 1-inch chunks. This just makes it easier to mix it with the other ingredients.

Add the cream cheese to the chicken. Next add the ranch dressing and the hot wing sauce and mix it all together.

Next stir in the blue cheese and pour the mixture into your prepared pie plate. Sprinkle on the Monterey Jack cheese, and bake 15-20 minutes.

And serve the buffalo chicken dip with celery sticks, pita chips and crackers.

  • i didn't bake it and i put it on salad.

  • The music in this takes the whole food-porn analogy to a new level.

  • ok all of your "P's" are popping the mic... it makes it very difficult to listen to... you need to get a screen for the mic or don't put the mic directly in front of your mouth when you talk.

  • Yum, this sounds amazing! Cute video.

  • I make a very similar dip, but instead of mixing the blue cheese in with the rest, I sprinkle it on top after it comes out of the oven along with 1/2 cup minced celery.

  • Looks delicious!

  • "Over here, over here!" All right, I'm coming over!
