There's big differences between powering up an incandescent bulb and a CFL or LED Bulb. You will definitely feel it when you hop on a bike generator and do the comparison! This same type of idea can be applied to Christmas tree lights. You can multiple strands of lights on a tree, some of them LED and some of them incandescent.
