Well, don't worry about it. Driving a 430 is a thrill, no doubt about that, and wholly different from driving the 328. It's just that I love the 328. More in general, I feel that 'old skool'-driving and the associated skill level required are increasingly undervalued as compared to hi-tec gadgetry that anyone can operate. Then again, it doesn't make sense to discuss personal tastes, now does it? Thanks for your reaction anyway.

Who cares - what a day for $880pp and you get to drive a Ferrari F430 Spider, 360 F1 Spider, F355 and 328-GTS!! Can't complain!!! I'm going to watch the Getaway segment on Thu 28th May..

you heathen! A 328 is one of the best Ferrari's ever made, a shape second only to the 246 Dino GT!
A stick shift??? you must be american!?! do you even know what a corner is???!?!?!?
Then again you really can't drive so this doesn't surprise me. Pitty people like you are allowed even if only for a day.
williamsondc1 has got a point: 328s are really quite nice. I happen to own one and hugely enjoy the pure driving experience. The "stick shift" comment does strike me as rather uninformed: this is a late 80s car, pre-ABS, pre-DTC, pre-autodrive, pre-flappy paddle, pre-pretty-much-anything. Still, if one appreciates real, untinkered-with driving, this car sure is the ticket!

I must admit, I am starting to regret saying that 'stick shift' comment as it does not seem to sit well with the viewing public. I am British, so driving with a manual gearstick is firmly ingrained. Not sure where I got the term from... it must have been mentioned in the pre-drive briefing and stuck thereafter.
The 328 was a nice car to drive, but for us, the wow factor and thrill of the drive increased as we went through the range. Thanks for the comment.
