  • Amazing that New York Central didn't have any 6 axle 2nd generation EMD's or GE's, good for heavy loads and mountains....so they only used 4 axle locomotives on this line right up until the merger with PRR.

  • ah reminds me of the days of Q302 with a few 6 axle units up front, and the last unit, an MP15AC, working it's guts out on it's way to south charleston with a long train in tow. how i miss the 90's.
