Rocketcam III Takes Flight (and plummets to Earth in a smouldering heap!)

Okay, so it came down a little harder than I expected, but there was enough left to send it up for another flight! The second flight had a bit of a problem with the descent as well .... but it didn't hit any of the people in the park!

Most importantly, the memory chips were (more or less) intact and we were able to photograph Kanata from the lofty height of a-hundred-and-something metres!

Regardless of the expenditure and the destruction of perfectly good video equipment (from eBay in Hong Kong), the kids had a blast! I mean, that's why we do this, it's all about the kids!
