Hardly ever used this , set up for a camera shoot with my son and
after less than one year it only half boots when I try to start it.
Called samsung and they say over $150 to REPAIR this piece of
garbage. Will never buy samsung again

Hey I saw your video on the SMX F34 and i also have it and i was wandering if you knew how to upload videos to like windows movie maker because it wont let me do it. When I try to upload my clips to my computer the turn into picture format or something because they allways are under the picture tab but when I click on the album or whatever it is my computer says that "no items match your search." It wont let me upload to windows movie maker. I really need help.

@mobi2033 yeah i have the same exact problem. in usb mode too..have you tried it with different battery models? cause i talked to samsung and they told me i need an AD43-00180A. so i had the wrong one which was a BLI-335. good luck

I've seen the f34 online for $279, but somehow i i got mine a year ago at Best Buy for just $189. What really got me was the 16GB memory and the awesome mic on it. I ran my RC car a 1/4 mile down the road and it still picked it up perfectly (my rc car's a quiet electric one, for those of you who a skeptical).

I'm looking to buy my first digital camcorder. I've got about a $300 budget. Is this okay as a starter camera ?
(I'll be filming my granddaughter, kids, etc. Nothing technical. Just a family cam.)

Buy the Samsung HMX H100. It shoots in HD and is priced at $299 as of now on amazon. It also has MUCH better video quality then the samsung smx f34.

Yeah, this camera sucks. I wouldn't recommend it at all.
