you can do both like go to flying school on weekends or during holidays

its because us Americans are lazy. Thats why we turn to slang and ebonics. Just look at our young generation. Pretty sad to see teens from Foreign countries like Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, etc having better English diction then American kids.

Yes the door can be opened and closed manually. The term baby is just an analogy. Its like how most people call their cars "My baby". etc
