BTW - the tuxedo has air-dried and is ready for a good steam iron. The shoes still look "out-of-the-box" new. Shoes can take a good wetting as long as you know how to dry them.

Thanks! Yes, but since the water was drained out by then it was only the bottom of the socks and the hem of the khakis that got wet.
