Crisis Core: C09S04 Cloud and Zack Inn [English Sub]

Crisis Core: C09S04 Cloud and Zack Inn - After making it back from the Mako Reactor in Nibelheim. Zack takes the injured Cloud to the local inn so he can rest up. Cloud and Zack have a chat before they both rest up for the next day.

Editor's Notes: So in this scene we get to see some flashbacks which are pretty key to Zack's development. We also learn a little more about Cloud.

If you're wondering why Cloud's hesitant to tell Zack if he knows Tifa or not, it's because a couple years back before Cloud left his village. He told Tifa he would only come back to his hometown once he made it in to SOLDIER. Although he never made it. Coming back without accomplishing what he promised made him feel "embarrased".

@00chebbie00 Cloud dosen't love Aerith. Aerith dosen't love Cloud. When Zack died Cloud copied his personality and dreams. Aerith felt like he recognized him. In the gondola ride she tells him she wants to meet the "real" Cloud. The compilation hints and even Square Enix confirmed that Cloud's love interest is Tifa Lockhart, his childhood friend. It makes sense since Cloud wanted to join SOLDIER to impress her, therefore Tifa was at the center of his dreams.

@xHoneybreath Ah yes the "I don't think either pairing is canon" routine. 9 times out of 10 this is from a C/A shipper who just wants to pretend to be "neutral" about the subject.

This basically translates into "I know I can't prove anything about C/A but as long as I can convince myself/others that C/T isn't canon I can live with that". Stop trying to convince people this is some great unknowable mystery.

I love how Zack matures throughout the game. At the beginning he's a hyperactive kid, and you get to watch him grow into a hero. Nothing ever went the way he planned, but he kept going until it killed him and died with a smile on his face.

@nintendohds1 Oh. Oh... I think I've had enough of that debate, or at least Cloti vs. Clerith debates in general, they annoysme to no end, the arguments tend to repeat constantly. I still think neither Clerith nor Cloti is canon.
