Another interesting point, I was a cab driver for a fair while and after the election I asked a lot of people in friendly conversation who they voted for, and would you believe I could not find anyone who would admit to voting for any of the major parties????? maybe I just didn't ask enough people?

After reading a lot of the comments I think you all missed the point which is the system. if you contact the AEC and ask them if you can use a pen to fill out your ballot they will send you a email with the piece of the legislation stating that it is your right to use a pen. However!! when you go to vote next time if you read the instructions it states that you must use the pencil provided or your vote will not be counted...

Stop pretending that there wasnt something to pick on.

Rudd has been in for six months and the liberal are attacking him on petrol and food and pensions and this so called labor media has been picking on them for the last week and a half on the petrol issue alone.

You die hard liberals need to come to grips with the fact people had had enough of the liberal goverment and they dont vote because of the media .

Around 70% of us didnt agree with the war in iraq but liberals got back in after it.

Never told us about work choices in the last election and then tryed to tell us this election its changes wont hurt anybody witch was a lie.

Cut 1 billion from health in its last budget they knew for six years about aboriginal problems but did nothing untill the election

What and you dont think the anti Liberal campaign by all media oultets was a direct result of the control of media ownerships laws the Liberals introduced to stop people like Rupert Murdoch controlling the press in this country. Funny how Packer jnr seperated channel 9 from the rest of the packer empire the week after the election.

OK answer me this hypothetical . You get selected to go on a reality tv game show with 9 other people. The object of this game is that you are locked away in a room with a computer and an account with $200,000 dollars. The object of this game is to make the biggest return playing the stockmarket and you get to ask the advice of 1 of 2 people . One has gone to uni studied finace, was a CEO of a large company. The other didnt finish high school became a tradesman and rose through is union.

labor won all the polls and were expected to win .

when howard beat keating liberal was ahead in the polls .

the polls were correct both times .

And the media attacked howard as they should

he was a pure bullshit artist.
