  • There was a 1989 Vauxhall advert based on the song and artist mentioned featuring a female driver. The Kleenex advert looks as though it was made in the early 1990s.

  • @Applemask Yeah, I guessed that's what you meant after I replied. You're absolutely right!

  • @MrRik2 The rights to it, I mean. That was terribly unclear.

  • If you can't get This Mortal Coil's "Song to the Siren", then maybe God is trying to tell you something.

  • That's the Dave font for Vauxhall Nova, isn't it? Of course that ad (using the Ritchie Valens version of "La Bamba" I think) predated the film and Los Lobos version.
