Look behind the colored pool finishes and see what's really holding all of the pressure. One of the most important aspects of a fiberglass pool is it's lamination. When you spray chop fiberglass you make a poor quality shell that can just be pulled apart by hand. Dry chop, dry foam, and filled resin spell disaster for this leisure fiberglass pool. Customers can't be fooled when you peel back the layers and expose the product. Complaints

  • In effect it was a combination of a number of factors that all combined and contributed to some pools being built and leaving in a condition less than acceptable for a Leisure Pool. The above is designed to be constructive , not critical. We will all benefit by not having the dreaded quality control calls from around the nation so let's get committed to the changes we need to put in place commencing immediately.

  • they focused on "quantity" to get the pools built, at the expense of "quality". Specifically some pools were built on the light side in terms of materials, and there was a lack of consistency in shell thickness. This issue applied also to the gel coaters which effected the cosmetic finish.

  • We are all weary of the complaints about quality control over the last 3 months. We estimate 90% of pools went out that were up to standard but 10% were not and that is not what we aspire to. Rather than ignoring or rationalizing our issues as a consequence of growth, we have elected to address these "head on".

  • I'm surprised that this is the only video posted that shows the poor quality that is rampant at the Leisure Pool factory this last year. Many of us Dealers & former Dealers have been on Leisure Pools owners to install more quality control in the factory all year. Of course they just ride around in their Mercedes & Porches telling us that our eyes are lying to us! If they don't get quality control quickly, they will have the same product poor reputation as Viking Pools,Cpc Pools, etc. surrogates
