When they're on the table they act independently When they're on top of the cans they act as one unit because of the cans making it rock back and forth so the metronomes synchronize because now they act as one unit with the board and the cans If the cans were right side up that wouldn't happen because the cans would be stationary just like the table

@Blahmaster1337 the thing is that, after a minute or so and a couple of adjustment periods, they *DON'T* get off track again.

That's simple. After about 5 beats of everything at different beats, they will all sync up for about 2-4 beats, then get off track again. Nothing to get super crazy about.

@butters155 Right. I think it has more to do with the center of gravity. When the metronomes are on the table they all have their own different center of gravities. But when placed on the board, they all SHARE a single center of gravity. Hmm. I am not that dumb.... Or am I?
