Not as much balanced in the mix and sound output as well, but it stands alone as one of the best prog tunes ever since the birth of true progressive music!

Band I was given: U.K.
Song I like: In the Dead of Night
Song I love: Carrying No Cross
Song I Hate: As Long As You Want Me Here because this is a prime example how John Wetton had begun to turn one of the greatest Progressive Rock bands of all time into Asia, well after Allan Holdsworth (A.K.A. the greatest guitarist ever) was kicked out and Bill Bruford (A.K.A. one of the best drummers ever) left.

I would absolutely love to see video of this 4-piece outfit playing a live show, but I doubt we ever will.

Extraordinary...

can't say for absolute sure but seem to recall from reading a Contemporary
Keyboard interview (early '80's) Eddie was using a Yamaha CS80 [same keyboard
Manfred Mann used on Blinded By The Light-]

Anyone know (for sure!) what keyboard Jobson is using for the lead solo from 5:51?

I prefer the album version. But that's no mark against this version as I REALLY like the album version and it's my favorite cut. This early version is a treat.

Always listen to this AMAZING clip. Eddie Jobson and his Yamaha CS-80, perfect together!!!
-
@drj602 Did I say I didn't recognize John Wetton? I made a mistake. I assumed that Bill & Alan weren't on this, because they're NOT on the album. When I actually listened 'closely' I realized that I was wrong & admitted it.
Keep making assumptions about me

Go for it dude! Just pontificate away about something you clearly no not one single thing about. You sure know your UK!! You mean that you can not even recognize the voice of John Wetton here???
Just throw it out there man, you don't care if it's completely stupid.
damphear2's comment is 100% accurate. I was AT this concert!
This is how the original 4 piece band played "Carrying No Cross". When I saw the trio with Bozzio play it, they performed the arrangement from the "Danger Money" LP.
Eddie Jobson is out play some of this amazing music again, let's make sure to support the concerts!
